This South Carolina lighthouse's keeper and his daughter Annei went to the mainland for supplies but on the way back
the boat took in water. The keeper tied his daughter to his back and swam for shore. Once he reached the shore he passed out
from and only to awake to find his daughter had drowned. He is sometimes seen walking the streets of Georgetown calling her
name.
From time to time a girl will appear to sailors telling them to go back when the weather is bad. Once a young boy saw
her when he was on a fishing boat. He told the captain and they headed back to shore telling other boats to do the same. Their
boat was saved but many others weren't. When they passed the lighthouse the captain told the boy that's where the girl had
lived.
